Oarvis Short Film Contest

Original short films under 25 minutes. A total prize pool of ₹1 lakh in cash and gift hampers. Register by 31 December 2026.

The idea

Bring your original short film to Oarvis. Films must run strictly under 25 minutes including credits. The combined prize pool is ₹1 lakh in cash and gift hampers; the number of awards, cash/gift split, jury and result date will be announced before fee collection. Register and provide the final private viewing link by 31 December 2026 at 11:59 pm IST. A link may be supplied with your registration or added later through the organizer; it must remain accessible through judging. Payment instructions and the organizer contact for link updates, withdrawal and refund requests will be published before any fee is collected.

Participation rules & cancellation policy

Fee: ₹1,000 per film, payable only after Oarvis publishes payment instructions. Registration now records an application awaiting payment and review; it does not establish a paid or accepted contest entry. Entrants must be at least 18, submit original work with all necessary permissions, and keep the complete film strictly under 25 minutes including credits. All languages are welcome; non-English films require English subtitles. Final registration and viewing links are due by 31 December 2026 at 11:59 pm IST. Oarvis will assess originality, storytelling and technical craft; jury, award distribution and results schedule will be announced before payment collection. The total cash and gift hamper prize pool is ₹1 lakh combined, not per winner. Film copyright remains with its owners; public screening, excerpts and promotion require separate permission. Withdrawals before the deadline receive a full refund of any entry fee collected by Oarvis. After the deadline, entry fees are non-refundable for voluntary withdrawal or disqualification for a disclosed rule breach. If Oarvis cancels the contest, or duplicate payment is verified, the relevant entry fee is refunded. Approved refunds will be initiated within 7 business days; bank processing may take longer. Organizer contact and final payment instructions will be published before fees are collected. Material rule changes affecting paid entrants will allow withdrawal and a full refund before judging.
