A voice. A legacy. A thousand stories.
Preserving the memories, music, relationships, and human stories of a life that touched many. This proposed documentary aims to record personal memories from people who knew, worked with, collaborated with, or were influenced by Zubeen Garg.
Personal memories carry cultural history in a way no archive can alone. The project hopes to preserve artistic connections and human experiences with care, permission, and authenticity for future generations.
An intended interview-led documentary combining personal memories, permitted archival material, original cinematography, sound design, and cinematic storytelling. Filming, interviews, archival permissions, final runtime, and release plans are not yet confirmed.
Planned steps only. No milestone is marked complete. Current stage: In Development. Team information will be added only when confirmed.
We hope to hear from musicians, composers, filmmakers, actors, professional collaborators, friends, colleagues, and people influenced by his work. These are intended interview categories, not confirmed participants.
This project aims to preserve the stories and legacy of Zubeen Garg through a cinematic documentary. We also want this initiative to create a positive social impact by supporting people in need through a verified NGO.
Funds raised through the initiative may be used for necessary, documented documentary production expenses. Funds remaining after approved production expenses will be directed to the designated charitable purpose under a clearly disclosed arrangement.
We are not committing to a predetermined percentage for production and charity. The allocation will depend on actual production requirements and the funds raised. Our commitment is to document the financial flow, report genuine expenses, and show the amount transferred for charitable work.
This is the proposed model. The responsible collecting entity, verified NGO arrangement, payment flow, expense approval controls, reconciliation process, and necessary disclosures are not yet configured. No contributions are being accepted.
Research, interview planning, recording, original cinematography, editing, sound design, and permission clearances. Genuine approved costs and charitable transfers would be documented in dated reports.
The team must confirm the legal entity, verified recipient organization, dedicated accounting, expense approvers, reporting process, and applicable requirements. Archival, interview, music, footage, and privacy permissions must also be established. A reporting dashboard alone does not establish compliance.
Published reports distinguish pledges, funds actually received, approved expenses, actual payments, and verified charitable transfers.
